Job Title: Sales Executive

Sales Department, Individual Contributor Role

 

Location: Remote (Work from Home), U.S. based

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven health tech focused sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will use your strong individual contributor capabilities with your ability to collaborate well with the Zen sales & solution architecture team.  In this role, you will excel at lead generation & qualification and managing a sales pipeline, delivering consistent, month over month sales pipeline and revenue growth. And you will collaborate with and influence the marketing team, so bring those ideas to the table.

You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth from new clients, building strategic relationships, and influence our go-to-market approach.

Role Requirements – You’ll Have: 

  • 2+ years selling into healthcare; healthcare IT is a big plus
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding a $1M+ annual sales quota to net new clients
  • At least two glowing recommendations from people who have worked with you; these will be verified
  • A basic understanding of what healthcare interoperability is, and why it is important; we don’t expect you to know all about it, but you will learn it
  • The ability to work very collaboratively with the highly experienced Solution Architecture team, levering their expertise to accelerate your success
  • Strong proficiency with a variety of technologies that optimize the sales process

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Own

Revenue & Pipeline

  • Own an annual personal quota of $1.5M ARR: Prospect, negotiate, and close deals with health-tech vendors, HIEs, large provider groups, labs/radiology, payers and ACOs. 
  • Grow the pipeline consistently, month over month; deliver weekly forecasts and KPIs to the C‑Suite. 

Sales & Marketing Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Zen BDRs, Solution Architects and other Zen team members to drive revenue attainment
  • Define, measure and report on meaningful Sales KPIs (Lead conversion, New qualified sales opportunities, demo‑to‑close velocity, etc).
  • Yes, you will contribute to continuous improvement and revenue goal attainment.

Go‑to‑Market Strategy & Feedback

  • Partner with the Marketing & C-level to continually refine ICPs, create impactful messaging, and expand and enhance sales assets. Yes, you will have a lot of influence.
  • Identify and communicate market insights that inform Zen’s product roadmap, pricing, and competitive positioning. And you’ll have a C-Suite that not only wants, but expects to hear your recommendations for improvement.

Strategic Relationships & Representation

  • Cultivate C‑level relationships at target enterprise organizations.
  • Establish high value partnerships with influencers that will accelerate sales into targeted ICPs such as hospitals/health systems and Payers/MCOs. 
  • Represent Zen at industry events, webinars, and analyst briefings

Expertise in Health Tech & Interoperability Sectors

  • A big part of the success in this position is to be a true SME in the Healthcare IT space. Do you have the ability to become a SME in interoperability?
  • Expand your knowledge every day, and stay current on industry trends and best practices in Healthcare, Health Tech and Healthcare Data Exchange
