It is our pleasure to welcome the Sonoma County Department of Health Services (Sonoma DHS) to the Zen Healthcare IT interoperability community. With a team of over 700, the Department of Health Services provides healthy living resources for the nearly half a million residents that call the county home.
The Zen team is honored to have the opportunity to help the county with its health information exchange and interoperability projects and play a small role in serving the healthcare needs of our northern California neighbors.
We join Sonoma DHS in celebrating the recent report and press release of improvements in public health initiatives involving sugary drink consumption. Residents around schools, shopping centers, and parks have elected to consume more water from new filtered water stations in critical areas and less sugary drinks. The change is producing positive results toward more healthy communities. Well done!
