Zen Healthcare IT, LLC (Zen) is excited to be joining California Healthcare business leaders, HIE’s, and Healthcare IT vendors  at the Redwood Mednet 2016 Annual Conference  being held at the Hilton Sonoma Wine Country Hotel in beautiful Santa Rosa, CA on July 17th and 18th.

This is the 10th annual Connecting California to Improve Patient Care Conference organized by Redwood Mednet. The conference theme this year is “Practical Solutions for Healthcare Information Exchange and Interoperability”.  This is a topic the Zen team is very excited about – since creating practical solutions for difficult interoperability projects is what we do every day for our Clients.

According to the conference website, conference presenters will explain state of the art solutions for securely sharing electronic clinical information between heterogenous computer systems at unaffiliated health care facilities, such as outpatient practices, hospitals, laboratories, imaging centers, long term care, home health, EMS, public health, payers, patient engagement portals, and mobile apps. Conference attendees will learn about best practices in health informatics. Speakers will discuss the current status of health information technology in California, national software road maps for data standards, interoperability, patient safety, and emerging tools and opportunities for physician and patient engagement.

In addition, Redwood MedNet will screen No Matter Where, a health information sharing documentary, on Sunday evening prior to the conference at the Hilton Sonoma Wine Country Hotel.
